TendWell Farm
TendWell Farm is a first generation family-run, certified organic farm based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Being a first generation farm is part of what makes our story unique. Also, the partnership between our two families allows us to play to our strengths and focus on the parts of our jobs that we do best. Starting a farm from scratch is what most speaks to our determination and commitment as a business so far. Danielle Hutchison and Steven Beltram have been collectively growing and producing organic vegetables for over two decades. What started as a #smallfarmdream on .25 acres has grown to over 200 acres of organic production in the past 10 years. We are now the largest organic farm in WNC, leaders in our community for produce quality and personality ;) We use restorative farming practices to grow healthy, fresh produce for you and your family. We specialize in a variety of fresh organic products including tomatoes, peppers, kale, lettuces, fennel and dandelion greens. We are stewards of the lands we tend and we value safe, supportive working conditions for our farm crew. We are proud to employ 40-60 migrant workers each year as well as year round employees. They keep our farm ticking - none of what we do would be possible without them. We value their worth ethic, friendship and commitment to sustainable agriculture year after year.
